Cragside Primary School has been at the heart of the High Heaton community for over 70 years. We are proud to be a welcoming and caring school in which each child is enabled to succeed.

We believe that every child has the right to enjoy their time at school. We strive for excellence in achievement for all children in literacy and numeracy and across the wider curriculum. The children are empowered to take an active part in their learning and we provide a rich variety of experiences which promote their personal, social, physical and creative development.

As we begin Spring Term at Cragside we are looking forward to lots of exciting activities. We will be continuing our parents afternoons where you are invited into school to find out more about what your child is doing and take part in some fun challenges. We are planning a number of school trips as well as an International focus week and a very special visit to school by some new friends! Year 3 and 4 will be ending the term with a special production. It is going to be a busy term but lots of fun!
