Thursday 3^rd November – Quiz Night

Cragside Parent, Teacher and Friends Association (CPTFA) has been part of the Cragside community for many years. We meet regularly to organise our fundraising events….. but we’re not just about fundraising. It’s also about meeting up with other parents that you wouldn’t necessarily come into contact with within your child’s class. We have fun, a chat, and good friendships are formed. We support each other and support the school, working in partnership together, with many staff involved in coming to meetings and attending events.

The focus of our fundraising for the past two years has been for the superb playstructure that is now in the yard. Thank you for everyone’s hard work in making this project become a reality.

Having a focus has been such a successful way of targeting our fundraising and we’re keen to do it again. In the autumn term of 2010, our project was the provision and installation of a data projector in the upper hall. This was achieved from the great success of our Christmas Fair.

Our current project is the redevelopment of one of the quads in school into a learning zone for the pupils, which will include re landscaping it and providing lots of activities such as nature trails, paths and play structures. This is still in the developmental stage and will be a long term target.
